Penfield's Hudson Wax Cloth is a densely woven fabric with a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The construction of the fabric makes it windproof and extremely durable. Thanks to its impregnation of environmentally friendly wax the surface is also water resistant. This hard wearing fabric wicks moisture effectively away from the body and is the perfect solution for life in the open.

This cotton/nylon combination fabric is perfect for outdoor conditions, because of its tightly woven construction it is classified as downproof and windproof making it as useful in the elements as for every day use.

At Penfield we use only the best Grey Goose Down for our down garments.This goose down is washed, sanitised, sorted and tested to the highest standards, under strict supervision, using state of the art equipment.

DWR Stands for Durable Water Resistant. This water resistant treatment coats the fibres of the fabric that causes water to bead up and roll off the fabric. This treatment does not close off tiny openings between the fibres keeping the fabric breathable.

Thermolite® provides warmth and comfort without weight, allowing more freedom of movement. Hollow-core fibres that trap air for greater insulation.

Teflon® fabric protector provides the newest and most innovative generation of water repellency and stain protection. It helps keep fabrics looking newer longer. Liquid spills bead up and roll off and ground-in stains are released during cleaning.
