Abraham Moon Tweed for Penfield
Introducing authentic tweed of the highest quality by Abraham Moon Tweed & Sons, this unique fabric has been manufactured in Yorkshire, the traditional home of the English cloth mills.

Known as a sporting and country tweed, it has been used on our classic Outback and Sibley vests, as well as on the Landis down duffle coat and the new Banks three-button down blazer. The result is a smart and versatile collection of outerwear woven with this distinctive but durable fabric.

Founded in 1837 by Abraham Moon, the factory has become synonymous with design and innovation throughout the world. Their mill is the only vertical woolen mill still operating in the UK, overseeing the intricate manufacturing process from raw wool to finished fabrics.

We travelled to the small town of Guiseley in West Yorkshire to visit the Abraham Moon & Sons factory and interview John Walsh, their managing director, to learn more about the history of the mill and to give you a closer look at how our collaboration came to fruition.

Head over to Port Magazine's Website for an in-depth interview with Managing Director, John Walsh about the Abraham Moon Tweed for Penfield collaboration.
