Seasonal Trend: Wax Gingham

The heritage inspired Penfield Wax Gingham is one of our key fabrics for this season, made from 100% cotton, and is durable, windproof and water resistant with the striking gingham print. Our classic spring styles Vassan and Gibson have been fabricated with Penfield Wax Gingham to give them a stylish but wearable update.

The Vasssan Wax Gingham contrasts the gingham print against classic navy or light khaki, and the buttons have been also updated to features metal clips as well as Penfield branded buttons. The Vassan Wax Gingham’s lightweight but durable fabric and stylish print make it the perfect option this season.

The Gibson Wax Gingham has been fabricated from Penfield Wax Gingham for a stylish jacket with practical features. The reinforced elbow patches ensure durability, while the adjustable cuffs and hem cinch offer a smarter fit. A hood featuring adjustable cords with cork cord locks finishes off a stylish but practicable and hardwearing choice, suited to all your needs.

We’re excited to announce the arrival of our lightweight classic vest for the Spring/Summer season. It was designed with those crisp spring mornings and cool summer nights in mind, with the cozy lower hand pockets and snap closure providing protection against the chill.

The water-resistant nylon composition and lightweight insulation makes it the ideal transitional piece. The Mendota is available in the three colorways: blue with a red lining, navy with a khaki lining, black with a blue lining.

The navy Mendota is ideal layered with our Newhall Oxford shirt and the Lawndale mini floral neck tie, Millwood beige chinos finish off an easy spring look.
