We are delighted to announce that our Fall/Winter 2011 footwear collaboration with Sperry Top-Sider, the iconic nautical lifestyle brand, officially launches today.
Featuring styles for men and women, this capsule collection features Sperry Top-Sider classics interpreted in Penfield's Fall/Winter 2011 signature outerwear materials.
The joint designs combine the essence of both brands' offerings. Four of Sperry Top-Sider's famed silhouettes, the Seamate, Authentic Original 2-Eye, Authentic Original Penny and Rigger Boot, have been updated with our Woodland Wax Camouflage, Herringbone Tweed and Corduroy fabrics.
In addition to a shared New England heritage, both Sperry Top-Sider and Penfield were born out of a need for more effectively handling the elements, which is why we both hold a similar commitment to developing innovative products that seamlessly marry form and function.
By combining the DNA of our two brands, we have developed a collection that provides a modern twist on old favorites. Consisting of four men's and two women's styles, the collection is now available at finer boutiques worldwide.
